Hanaq Perú Travel is a 100% Peruvian owned and professionally licensed tour operator and adventure travel company based in the city of Cusco, Peru. It was founded by wuilber velasque who works as a tour guide with more than 12 years of guiding experience. We operate treks, guided treks to Machu Picchu, ausangate, Rainbow Mountain and adventure trips all over Perú, with a strong commitment to sustainable, ethical and responsible travel.

Our camp chefs are pretty amazing, so you can be sure you’ll eat great food there! We use a lot of fresh ingredients in our creations and provide hearty, tasty and well-balanced meals. We regularly accommodate special dietary needs, such as vegetarian and gluten-free, and will work closely with our guests to ensure special needs are met.

We can certainly accommodate larger groups, but we will ensure that such groups are handled in a way that minimizes our impact on the environment and other visitors.

At Hanaq Perú Travel, our mission is to provide you with a safe and fascinating experience unique to the Cusco region. Your safety is always our first priority. Along with that, we also make sure that every step of your adventure with us is an enjoyable and memorable experience. Our guides are knowledgeable and familiar with the routes, the local languages, the ethnic groups and their culture that extends from the east to the west of Perú. They are also skilled in map reading, navigation, mountain safety and wilderness first aid training.
To provide our clients with incredible service, we continually encourage our guides to participate in the latest trekking and mountain climbing training sessions. We also keep up to date with the latest trekking equipment and techniques. To ensure that you get a memorable experience, we research new trekking areas and trekking routes that you can enjoy. In addition, our guides, cooks and porters are insured and provided with all the necessary equipment during the trek so that they can serve you in the best possible way.
