Terms & Conditions

A) RESERVATIONS

Responses to requests will be either confirmed by email within a period not exceeding 24 hours, or you will be notified by email that your request is on a waiting list within a period not exceeding 24 hours. Requests will be answered in the order in which they arrive at Central Booking. Any request for a reservation should be sent to [email protected] specifying the following:

  • Name of the activity.
  • Number of passengers involved.
  • Information about the passenger(s): full name, age.
  • Nationality of each passenger.
  • Identity document (Passport # or DNI #). After the reservation is confirmed, Peruvian passengers or foreigners residing in Peru must send the DNI or passport of each passenger (via email) to access the national rate.
  • Reservation date for tour.
  • Reserve date(s) for additional tours.
  • All proposals or quotes will be valid for seven days, except those that have a longer validity granted by the company. After this period, all reservation requests must have a new quote.
  • All reservations will be confirmed at the time of request (according to the availability of each tour), assigning a confirmation code.
  • The reservation will be considered reconfirmed upon receipt of full payment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the initial confirmation otherwise it will be canceled automatically.

** Travelers must have medical or travel insurance that provides coverage during their tourist activities and programs.

B) MINORS AND CHILDREN

All minors must have the consent of their parents or guardians to participate in any activity. Parents or guardians are required to sign all appropriate forms before minors can participate in any activity. Depending on the nature of each tour, discounts are applied for children and students, only if it is shown, in the case of nationals, with the DNI and student card and in the case of foreigners, passport or immigration. These documents must be presented at the time of confirmation (via email) to access the respective discount.

C) PAYMENTS

  • Individual clients must make payments on the dates indicated to confirm and guarantee their reservation. In the case of groups (more than 9 people), the 100% payment must be made 30 days in advance, otherwise it will be canceled.
  • In the case of groups going to Machu Picchu, 100% payment is required 40 days before the reservation. Once a payment is made for a tour to Machu Picchu and a cancellation or modification occurs, there will be a penalty charge of 10% of the total price.
  • Payments in advance, deposit the corresponding amount in the following bank account:

Important note: all payments must be made in USD. (American dollar). The Client must send the proof of deposit by email to [email protected]. before 3:30 PM on the payment due date. However, if the payment due date falls on a weekend or holiday, the customer must email the receipt one (01) business day BEFORE that date.

D) POLICIES AND SANCTIONS FOR CANCELLATIONS OR MODIFICATIONS

1. For train tickets, packages or Tours to Machu Picchu

* Prior to the date of service

* To return train tickets, the following documents will be needed: passport (via scan), power of attorney to Hanaq Peru Travel EIRL. authorizing the railway company to act on its behalf. These documents must be sent within 24 hours after the cancellation of the train ticket.

2. For other tours that are not Machu Picchu

* Prior to the date of service

E) CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER INFLUENCES

The company is not responsible for cancellations due to weather conditions beyond our control.
