Important info
- Accommodation: 3 nights of camping in private tents with foam mattresses.
- Meals: 4x Breakfast, 3x Lunch, 3x Snack, 3x Dinner. Vegetarian or vegan options available; please inform us in advance.
- Transportation: Private transport from Cusco to Tinki and back. Return from Tinqui to Cusco.
- Local Guides & Team: English/Spanish speaking professional guide with a minimum of 3 years of guiding experience. Personal porters to carry camping gear and equipment. All guides carry first aid kits and extra oxygen bottles for emergencies.
- Meals: Dinner on the first day.
- Equipment: Sleeping bags ($25.00 per person, available for rent). Trekking poles ($15.00 per person, available for rent).
- Optional Activities: Additional hot springs in Pacchanta ($5.00 per person). Visit to local markets in Tinqui.
- Other Costs: Tips for guide (customary but voluntary), national or international flights, travel insurance. Other activities not mentioned in this itinerary.
- Book early: Permits for this trek are limited; it’s advisable to book at least 3 months in advance.
- Acclimatize: Spend a few days in Cusco to adjust to the altitude before starting the trek.
- Gear up: Bring suitable hiking boots, layers for changing weather, and waterproof gear.
- Essentials: Pack insect repellent, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and a personal first aid kit.
- Optional porter service: Hire a porter to carry your belongings for comfort during the trek.
