Itinerary
Day 1. Cusco – City tour
We will pick you up from the airport to take you to your hotel in Cusco. Once you settle in, you will begin your City tour in Cusco, where you`re going to know many places and many archaeological sites such as the Cathedral, Qoricancha, or the Sun Temple considered an indigenous religious sanctuary, Sacsayhuaman, it provide us with a panoramic view of the city, you will also visit Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, the tour will finish in the main square where you can dinner and enjoy the magical night in the city center of Cusco. Night in a hotel in Cusco.
Day 2. Sacred Valley - Aguas Calientes
Early morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to start the tour through The Sacred Valley, you will visit small villages such as Pisac, where you`ll have a guided tour in its archaeological site; you will continue the visit of the sacred valley traveling to Urubamba, in this place you will have a buffet lunch, with many types of peruvian gastronomy, finally you will visit Ollantaytambo, where you will learn about its fortress, in this place you will board the train to go to Aguas Calientes, it is a 1 hour and 45 minutes trip approximately. You will spend a night in a hotel in Aguas Calientes for visit Machupicchu the next day. Hotel night in Aguas Calientes
Day 3. Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
You will take the bus early morning to go to Machu Picchu, it is 25 minutes trip by car. Once you arrive in the Incas Citadel you will have a guided tour with a professional in tourism who will explain to you all the stories behind the building, the Citadel was one of the rest residences of Pachacutec, it was an architecture and engineering masterpiece that’s why it is visited by thousands of travelers every year, after the visit of Machupicchu citadel you will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Later that day, you will go back to Aguas Calientes so you can board the return train to Ollantaytambo where we will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in Cusco. Hotel night in Cusco.
Day 4. Maras – Moray tour – Cusco
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to see the village of Maras and the experimental agricultural terraces of Moray. It is believed that in Moray the Incas created their own microclimate to adapt the plants to this altitude. Then we will visit the Salineras de Maras which are an impressive salt complex, consisting of 3000 wells filled with salt and when exceed 10 centimeters they are collected for distribution to local markets. We will return to Cusco at noon. You will have the afternoon free for make a visit of the Cusco city center or relax in the hotel. Hotel night in Cusco
Day 5. Hotel - Airport
